The explosive trailer for Tehran, starring John Abraham, has hit YouTube on ZEE5’s official channel, building massive anticipation for its streaming premiere on August 15, 2025, coinciding with India’s Independence Day.

Directed by Arun Gopalan, Tehran is a bold geopolitical thriller set against the Iran-Israel conflict, with India portrayed as a powerful neutral player. The trailer, packed with high-octane action and intense drama, promises a cinematic experience that’s both thrilling and thought-provoking, hitting ZEE5 directly instead of theaters.

John Abraham shines as a determined operative navigating a dangerous web of international espionage, with Manushi Chhillar adding emotional depth to the story. The trailer’s gritty fight scenes, explosive chases, and a haunting background score set the tone for a hard-hitting narrative.

Sharp dialogues like “Tehran isn’t about heroes; it’s about hard choices” hint at a story of tough decisions in a polarized world. The trailer’s sleek editing and focus on India’s strategic role have struck a chord with social media users on X and Instagram.
