India vs South Africa, Live Score 2nd Test Day 2: Farewell Dean Elgar – SA skipper bags unwanted feat in final Test

India vs South Africa, Live Score 2nd Test Day 2: For an outgoing Dean Elgar, the Cape Town decider was nothing but a ‘World Cup’ encounter as the senior batter is bidding farewell to the longest format after the India series. Elgar is South Africa’s stand-in skipper for the entire series. The senior batter smashed a brilliant century to help the Proteas take a 1-0 lead over Rohit Sharma’s men. Elgar was dismissed for 4 off 15 in the 1st innings of the series decider at Cape Town. In the 2nd innings, Mukesh Kumar outsmarted the Proteas opener, who perished for 12 off 28 balls in his final Test knock. Elgar is the second player after Australia’s Jack Barrett to be dismissed twice on the same day of his farewell Test. Did you know? Barrett played his last Test way back in 1890!
