Kangana Ranaut Says Her ‘Head Started Spinning’ When She Heard About Sadhguru’s Brain Surgery; ‘God Has Collapsed’

Renowned spiritual leader Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudeva underwent an emergency brain surgery on Wednesday following the discovery of life-threatening bleeding in his brain. Despite experiencing severe headaches for the past four weeks, Sadhguru continued to fulfill his commitments, including organizing a nightlong celebration for Mahashivratri earlier this month.

However, his health condition deteriorated, leading to the necessity of immediate medical intervention. Following the surgery, the doctors provided an update stating that Sadhguru’s condition is improving remarkably, surpassing expectations.

Several prominent personalities, including actress Kangana Ranaut, actor Ram Charan’s wife Upasana Konidela, director Shekhar Kapur, and actor Ranvir Shorey, extended their heartfelt wishes for Sadhguru’s speedy recovery. Kangana Ranaut especially had a rather dramatic reaction to Sadguru’s surgery.

Taking to her X handle, Kangana wrote, “I am numb since I got to know about it from Radhe, Sadguru ji not only hosted massive Shivratri event in that excruciating pain but also refused to skip any meeting or summit… Get well soon, we are nothing without you.”

In an another tweet she wrote, “Today when I saw Sadhguru ji lay on ICU bed I was suddenly hit by the mortal nature of his existence, before this it never occurred to me that he is bones, blood, flesh just like us. I felt God has collapsed, I felt earth has shifted, sky has abandoned me, I feel my head spinning, I can’t make sense of this reality and choose not to believe this but then suddenly I break down, today millions of people ( devotees) share my grief, I want to share my pain with you all, I am not able to contain it. He better be fine or sun won’t rise, earth won’t move. This moment hangs lifeless and still.”

In a video shared from the hospital, Sadhguru revealed that the neurosurgeons at Apollo Hospital performed surgery to address the bleeding in his brain. However, they discovered nothing significant and subsequently patched up his skull. Dr. Vinit Suri, a neurologist from Apollo Hospitals, elaborated on Sadhguru’s condition, explaining that the decision for brain surgery was made following a worsening of his neurological status due to the massive brain bleeding detected during an MRI.
