Mohit Suri, known for his romantic dramas, has delivered another hit with Saiyaara. The film won over audiences and critics alike, earning praise from across the film industry. Karan Johar recently shared that Saiyaara inspired him creatively.
On season 3 of The Streaming Show with Suchin Mehrotra, Karan spoke about the film’s impact. In the show’s teaser, he said, “When I watched Saiyaara, I think after a long time I felt so inspired. I was like, I want to make a love story.” He also commented on Bollywood’s cautious approach, stating, “I don’t think many mainstream actors want to take a chance today. I think the box office game has become too important. It’s become too big in all their collective heads.”
After Saiyaara’s release, Karan posted on Instagram, praising the film and its leads: “What a debut @ahaanpandayy!!!! You broke my heart and yet energised me as a filmmaker… your eyes spoke volumes and I can’t wait to see your journey ahead… You are spectacular!!!!
