Shah Rukh Khan Rents Two Luxury Properties Owned By Jackky & Vashu Bhagnani; Here’s How Much He’s Paying

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who calls the Rs 200-crore Mannat mansion in Mumbai home, has made headlines again with a massive real estate move. On 19 February 2025, reports confirmed that the actor leased out two luxurious duplex apartments in the upscale Bandra area for a staggering Rs 8.67 crore! The deal, finalized on 14 February 2025, involves properties located in the Belle Vue Apartments on Bandra West’s Carter Road, a prime spot known for its sea views and celebrity residents. This isn’t just a random transaction – Khan’s company, Red Chillies Entertainment Pvt Ltd, is behind the lease, showing his business savvy extends beyond the silver screen.

The duplexes, sprawling across the ninth and tenth floors, cover a combined area of 4,488 square feet. According to documents accessed by Zapkey, the lease agreement locks in a monthly rent starting at Rs. 48 lakh for the first two years. That number jumps to Rs. 52.80 lakh per month in the third year, pushing the total value of the three-year deal to Rs. 8.67 crore. Khan also paid a hefty security deposit of Rs. 2.88 crore upfront, proving this is no small investment. The property’s prime location and massive size make it a standout addition to his already impressive portfolio.

The two duplexes leased by Khan belong to the Bhagnani family of Bollywood. One of the apartments, owned by actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani and his sister Deepshikha Deshmukh, has been leased for Rs. 11.54 lakh per month. The second unit, owned by Vashu Bhagnani, is rented at Rs. 12.61 lakh per month. Both leases are valid for a duration of 36 months.

Khan’s main residence, Mannat, sits in Bandra too, a sprawling sea-facing bungalow worth Rs. 200 crore that’s become an iconic landmark in Mumbai. The actor bought it in 2001 for Rs. 13.32 crore, and transformed it into a luxurious haven with his wife, Gauri Khan, who’s known for her interior design skills. “Mannat is more than just a house; it’s a reflection of our journey,” Shah Rukh once said in an interview, hinting at the personal touch behind its grandeur. Meanwhile, Red Chillies Entertainment, founded by Khan and Gauri in 2002, keeps growing, with hits like Jawan and Dunki under its belt.
